Integrated Aqua Systems, Inc. (IAS) of Escondido, CA recently announced that it’s entered into an exclusive North American distributorship agreement with international injection molding company RK Plast A/S of Denmark. RK Plast manufactures polypropylene biological filter media for aquaculture and other wastewater treatment industries throughout Denmark and internationally.

BioElements™ have 750 m2/m3 (228ft2/ft3) of surface area and are offered in three different densities (light, medium and heavy) depending on the specific biofilter application.
IAS stocks the bio-media at its Escondido, CA facility and markets the patented media under its own label, IAS BioElements.
